Earth Embroideries | Satellite views of Antarctica are distilled into minimal line drawings created with thread on paper. These works record melting ice sheets and digital glitches that reveal imperfect seaming technology. While considering the geologic and glacial time scales, the act of slowing down and of mending, I am transcribing a vast amount of physical space into something I can hold and stitch by hand.
